EnerTEF is a proud member of the Smart Energy Cluster, a dynamic network of over 30 EU-funded projects working on integrated energy services, digital technologies, and the clean energy transition. Established under the LIFE project InEExS and co-managed by EPU-NTUA and IEECP, the cluster fosters cooperation across projects, breaks silos, and enhances communication impact through shared strategies. Since joining in 2025, EnerTEF has actively participated in cluster workshops, campaigns, and content exchanges. The project contributes to joint social media activities (e.g. the #SmartEnergyCluster hashtag), co-branded outreach, and thematic collaboration in areas like digital twins, RES integration, and AI for building energy efficiency.

EnerTEF works closely with the other two sector-specific TEFs in energy — AI-EFFECT and EnergyGuard — to foster knowledge exchange, policy alignment, and shared technical development. This trilateral collaboration is focused on addressing common challenges such as federated data access, AI validation procedures, and governance models. Together, the three energy TEFs have committed to coordinated communication actions (e.g. joint events, cross-referencing on websites), thematic synergies, and joint exploration of training programmes, open calls, and outreach strategies. These efforts aim to establish a strong, unified voice for the TEF energy community and create a blueprint for AI deployment in the energy domain across Europe.
